Antioch Christian Church, located at 1050 Antioch Road in Screven County, announces a special evening of gospel music 7 p.m. Saturday, March 12. Donna Jackson of Springfield and The Foxworth Singers of Pembroke will perform. Everyone is cordially invited.

Parker Grove

Parker Grove Baptist Church will present a "Church Family and Friends Benefit Program" honoring Fred Ruffin 6 p.m. Saturday, March 5.

The master of ceremonies will be Deacon Joe Wright. Several musical selections will be presented. The speaker will be the Rev. James L. Brooks.

The public is cordially invited to attend.

Big Horse Creek

Big Horse Creek Baptist Church announces the following upcoming activities.

An "old-fashioned Sunday" is planned for the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday, March 13. Everyone is encouraged to dress in clothes reminiscent of long ago, and prizes will be awarded for the best dressed. There will be old-time hymns sang, and a meal reminiscent of the "dinners on the grounds" of years past will be served in the church social hall following the worship service.

Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and the nighttime worship service is held at 6 p.m.

On Easter Sunday, March 27, a sunrise service will be held at 7 a.m. Following the service, breakfast cooked by the men of the church will be served to all those in attendance. Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m. and worship service will be held at 11 a.m. There will be no night service on this day.

A "Song and Praise Service" featuring local area individuals and churches will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, April 9. Refreshments will be served following the service.

The public is cordially invited to attend each of these services.

Rosemary Baptist

Rosemary Baptist Church, 4128 Rosemary Church Road, will present a gospel sing 7 p.m. Friday, March 4. Featured performers will be The Proclaimers of Rincon. Local guests will include Todd Marsh and family, Holly Zerwig and others. Refreshments will be served afterward.

The Rev. David Mullins, pastor, and the congregation cordially invite the public to attend.
