Shirley Ann Mock Oglesby, 62, of Midville died Thursday, June 2, 2005.

Her funeral was held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Oak Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. William H. Thompson and Wayne Bray officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Oglesby was born in Jenkins County. She was owner of Oglesby Grocery Store and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Oglesby of Midville; a daughter, Cathy E. Bowen, also of Midville; a son, Eddie Eskew of Millen; stepfather, James Langham, also of Millen; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers were John Durden, Allen Durden, Jeff Adams, Rodney Oglesby, Jay Carroll and Jim Sherrod.
