Cheer Camp begins next week Jamie Linder, Courtney Miller and Mary Beth Brown, shown from left, and the other Jenkins County High School (JCHS) cheerleaders have been preparing for cheer camp by making and putting up posters and signs, and practicing the cheers, chants and dances that will be taught during the week of camp. The camp is one of the JCHS cheerleaders' fund-raisers for the year. Cheer camp is for girls and boys 3 through 12 years of age. It will be held 9 a.m. - noon Monday, June 13, through Thursday, June 16, at the Jenkins County Agriculture Center across from JCHS. The camp will conclude on Thursday with a pep rally for the community. The time to sign up is at 8:45 a.m. on the first day of camp. The cost is $30.
