The ninth Pastor’s Anniversary of the Rev. Rayford L. Whitehead at Sand Hill Baptist Church will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, June 12, with the Rev. James Waltower of Dickey Grove Baptist Church. The public is cordially invited to attend.

The members of Millen United Methodist Church will honor the Rev. George Durham and family with a reception 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday, June 12, in the social hall of the church.

Rev. Durham will be moving to Perry, where he will be the pastor of Crossroads Methodist Church.

Daniel Grove Baptist Church will hold a state rally Saturday, June 18, at 7 p.m. Sister Hazel Banner will serve as mistress of ceremony and state announcer, and there will be special music.
