Books for Babies Addie Searles, daughter of David and Nan Searles, recently enjoyed the "Rock-A-Bye Baby Reader" while visiting the Jenkins County Memorial Library. These books are provided through the "Books for Babies" component of the Georgia Assisting Childhood Education (ACE) Program. Gov. Sonny Perdue provided his support for the program by writing a letter to accompany each "Rock-a-Bye Baby Reader" book, encouraging parents of young children to make reading an important family activity. Georgia's newborns can now receive a free book at Jenkins County Memorial Library, as long as the supply lasts. The books are available in both English and Spanish.
