Big Horse Creek Baptist Church announces their annual celebration of Homecoming will be held 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 7. Sunday School will begin at 10 a.m. A covered dish luncheon will be served in the church social hall, following the services.

Rocky Ford Baptist Church invites the members of all area churches to their Summer Revival 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, through Friday, Aug. 12. The services will be held at the new sanctuary located on U.S. Highway 25, north.

Faith Walk

Faith Walk Deliverance Church will begin holding services at the old Rocky Ford Baptist Church building beginning 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 7.

Community Worship Center

Community Worship Center announces Gospel Bluegrass Night will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10. The church is located at 417 Virginia Ave.

The evening will feature Eryn Eubanks and The Family Fold of Augusta. Eubanks is 17 years of age, and she sings, composes songs and plays 12 instruments. She is also a licensed minister. Along with other members of her family, she plays and sings bluegrass music. The family has performed around the Augusta area for several years. They were voted Augusta’s best Christian/Gospel group by Augusta magazine in their "Best Of" contest held in 2004.
