Morrison Grove The Morrison Grove Baptist Church will celebrate 133 years of faithfulness to God with an anniversary service 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 7. Dinner will be served following the service. All members of the community are invited to share in the milestone event. The church was first organized in 1872 under a brush arbor on the March Perkins' place, by a group of faithful ministers and deacons. The church was named for its first member, Henry Morrison. The present structure was built in 1905.
