Dear Editor:

I just wanted to say, “Thank you,” to Ed Fuller and Ken Delay for having the words, “Merry Christmas” displayed on their billboard outside their pharmacy.

It would be nice if all the businesses in Millen would do the same. We all need to remember the true meaning of Christmas. Without Christ, there would be no Christmas.

Thank you again, Ed and Ken. I will continue to be a proud supporter of Eagle Pharmacy. Merry Christmas to everyone!

The 2005 Jenkins County High School (JCHS) competition cheerleading squad would like to thank everyone for their support. Our success would not have been possible without each and every one of you.

We thank the coaches Cheryl Conley, Crystal Flakes, Cindy Linder and Laurie Sherrod for their expertise, guidance and dedication. To the Jenkins County Booster Club, we extend our gratitude for their financial support and encouragement. We appreciate the community’s gifts, signs and prayers. We extend a special “thank you” to our parents for their commitment of time and financial support and for always believing in us.

Millen is a great place to live. We may be small but, our community has a big heart.
