Millen Police
The Millen Police Department reported the following incidents this week. Thursday, Dec. 1
Edward Channing Eskew of 1752 Old Savannah Road, Midville, was charged with expired tag/no tag and fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer. Saturday, Dec. 10
Officers stopped a vehicle on Wilson Street for having an expired tag, and the offender ran on foot from the officer. The vehicle was towed. The offender is known to law enforcement. Monday, Dec. 12
Emma Roberson of 1106 A Street was charged with false report of a crime.
Screven County
Sheriff’s Office
Jason Lynn Lowrance of 967 Old Perkins Rd. was charged with driving under the influence drugs, possession of a prescription drug without a prescription and possession of marijuana, more than an ounce.
Jenkins County Coroner’s
Report
The Jenkins County Coroner’s office investigated 36 deaths during 2005.
These consisted of 27 natural; five accidents; one homicide; and three pending toxicology. Four of the deaths are being
reviewed by the Child Fatality Review Board.
