Willie Haynes Four teachers at Jenkins County High School have been named to Who’s Who in American Teachers for 2005. They are Willie Haynes, technology teacher and athletic director; Jean Gay, math teacher; Annette Cobb, CVAE and chorus teacher; and Nancy Deal, science teacher and science department chairperson.

This honor goes to less than 5 percent of the teachers in the United States. A teacher must be nominated by a peer, student or administrator to be eligible for the award.
