If you’re looking for a hot soup to try on a cold winter night or day, the following quick and easy versions are sure to warm your insides and get you out of the kitchen fast.

Chicken and

Dumplings Soup 6 chicken thighs 2 cans condensed cream of celery soup 1 12 oz. pkg. Refrigerated biscuit dough

Boil chicken until done. Remove from bones and return to pot of liquid. Add soup and bring to a simmering boil. Pull biscuit dough into pieces and add to soup mixture. Simmer for 7-8 minutes or until dough is done.

Corn Chowder 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed 1 onion, diced 1½ c. evaporated can milk 1 can cream style corn

Cook potatoes and onions until done, about 15 minutes. Stir in milk and corn. Heat through, but do not boil. Serve.

Homemade Cream of

Tomato Soup 2 TBSP. Butter 1 onion, chopped 2 TBSP. All-purpose flour 2 c. milk

Sautee onions in butter until translucent. Remove from heat and stir in flour until lumps are gone. Whisk in tomato juice. Cook until just boiling. Turn heat off. Cool 10 minutes and then add milk. Serve immediately.
