Miss Riner to marry Mr. Walden June 24

Aaron Walden and Dena Riner Miss Riner to marry Aaron Walden and Dena Riner Miss Riner to marry Ms. Pam Riner of Garfield announces the engagement of her daughter, Dena Lynn Riner, to Aaron Davis Walden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Walden of Twin City. The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Dean Riner.

She is the granddaughter of Willie Dell Joyner and the late James P. Joyner of Garfield and Byron Riner and Kathryn Riner, both of Swainsboro.

She is a 2002 honor graduate of Emanuel County Institute. She is a 2004 graduate of East Georgia College with an associate degree in teacher education. She will graduate with honors in May from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Johnson of Twin City and Mr. and Mrs. Garnett Stephens of Adrian and the late Jack Walden.

He is a 2000 graduate of Emanuel County Institute. He attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton on a baseball scholarship. He is employed with Team Excavating in Wrens.

The wedding will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, at El Bethel Baptist Church in Twin City. No local invitations will be sent; friends and relatives are invited.
