I'm afraid "Chatter" is "chatless" this week, folks. It's Monday, nearing noon, and I can't think of a thing to write about. With that dreaded deadline staring me in the eye, it's hard to be creative.

The few topics that have come to mind seem to be only brief inspirations and a little boring.

School: it starts on Monday; Weather: it's hot; Rain: it was a blessing; Gas prices: outrageous, nearing ridiculous; and Television: reruns, reruns and more reruns.

That's it in a nutshell - the extent of my creativity juices today. What can I say? Sometimes they boil over, sometimes they simmer and sometimes, like today, they just sit in the pot and wait for someone to strike a match. Does anyone have a light?
