Skelton, Long to unite in marriage

Miss Skelton and Mr. Long Miss Skelton and Mr. Long Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bussey Skelton of Augusta are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Sandra Kathryn Skelton to Jason Scott Long, son of Col. (Ret) and Mrs. Scott Carl Long of Evans. The wedding is planned for 6 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2006, at First Baptist Church in Augusta.

Miss Skelton is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Bates Dwelle of Millen and the late Mr. and Mrs. Claud Eugene Skelton Jr. of Augusta. She is a graduate of Central High School in Macon. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University. She is employed by the Columbia County Board of Education as a first grade teacher.

Mr. Long is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Garland Acors of Richmond, Va. and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Almond of Pinehurst, N.C. He is a graduate of Lakeside High School in Evans. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Georgia. He is employed by Blanchard and Calhoun Commercial as a commercial real estate consultant.

The bride-elect's mother is the former Sandra Dwelle of Millen.
