Bernese Parker, 73, of Millen dies in Statesboro

Bernese Parker, 73, of Millen died Saturday, July 15, 2006 at the Heritage Inn Health Center in Statesboro.

Brother Bill Coggins led family and friends in a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, at Scarboro Baptist Church.

Survivors include five sons: Terry C. Brigdon Sr. of Millen, Jerry W. Brigdon of Atlanta, Dennis Holley of Dublin, Glenn Rooks, also of Dublin, and Derrell Mullis of Adrian; six daughters: Debra Vaughan of Atlanta, Janice McMillan of Statesboro, Patricia Phillips of Tyrone, Linda Allen of Guyton, Becky Mickel of Lake Sinclair and Judy Allen of Dublin; three sisters; two brothers; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
