Caroline E. Marbach, 84, died July 19 at her home

Miss Caroline Elizabeth (Snooks) Marbach, 84, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at her home at Washington Commons in Evans after an extended illness.

Her funeral was held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, at CroweFields Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Ruffin officiating. Burial was in the Millen Cemetery.

Miss Marbach, a native of Millen, was a graduate of Crawford W. Long School of Nursing in Atlanta where she received her R.N. degree. She retired from nursing with Delta Airlines in 1987.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Neta Marbach, two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, James C. (Jake) and Mabel Marbach; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers were Jake F. Marbach, Milton Kinne, Claude Underwood and Bill Higgins.
