MI celebrates five years hazard-free

MI Windows and Doors recently announced that the Millen manufacturing facility has celebrated a five-year milestone without an accident.

The plant has worked 3 million hours maintaining a hazardfree work environment. The 370 workers attribute part of their success to daily safety meetings and reminders.

A "Five-year Safety Recognition Luncheon" was held Monday, July 24, at the local facility to mark the achievement.

"We are extremely proud of our Millen facility for their efforts to achieve five years and over three million hours worked without a lost-time accident. Safety is our number one priority at MI Windows and Doors, Inc., and this significant milestone is an example of how we as a company are committed to safety," said MI Windows and Doors director of safety David T. Levan.
