Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor:

My name is Trent Lindsey, I am ten years old and I play bantam football at the JCRD. I have been playing for three years now, but this year has been outrageous. Some parents have treated it like the Super Bowl or the National Championship. Because of that, we may have to cancel the rest of the season. We are out here to play football, learn, and have fun. I hope that the adults that have caused this are happy because of their actions.

I have been waiting to play on the High School field all year long, and then they're just going to cancel the Turkey Bowl. In a few more years we are all going to be Jenkins County Eagles, not separate teams. I hope the adults know that.
