True Dogs earn spot in USSSA World Series

True Dogs Baseball traveled to Augusta Nov. 11-12 to compete in the 3rd Annual Wood Bat Championship hosted by USSSA Baseball at beautiful Diamond Lakes Complex.

Thanks to some scrappy play, True Dogs were able to finish 1st Runner Up in the 16 and

Under Division - winning their first ever berth to compete in the USSSA World Series held in Kissimmee, Fla. in July.

With their backs to the wall Sunday, True Dogs cut into a 6- 0 deficit against Coastal Blast to make it 6-3 only to find themselves down 8-3 in the next halfinning. But refusing to lie down, True Dogs fought their way to a 9-8 lead and eventually won

game four of the tournament 12-8 propelling themselves into the championship game.
