Toys for Tots campaign is in full swing

Putting smiles on the faces of local children Christmas Day is the aim of the annual Toys for Tots campaign now underway.

The Jenkins County Family Enrichment Center is soliciting donations of new unwrapped toys for children 4-17 years of age. Toys and monetary donations may be dropped off at the Resource Center located at 527 Barney Avenue, the former board of education building.

Contributors may also choose to sponsor a family.

The deadline for donating toys, making monetary contributions or sponsoring a family is Thursday, Dec. 14.
