JCMS students use computer lab
Students at Jenkins County Middle School frequently visit the school’s one computer lab located in the media center to work on programs such as Academy of Math, Academy of Reading, Online Assessment CRCT test practice, BrainPop and other activities that teachers have prepared for them to do using software located on the school’s server or online. Teachers sign up through the media center for time slots to take their classes to the lab. Rarely is the lab empty. Students also use the lab to work on writing and other performance-based projects for their classes. Above, students in Mrs. Monica Broxton’s eighthgrade math class work on the Academy of Math software program in the computer lab. Pictured are, from left, Spencer Lee, Kayla Brackin, Meghan Coggins and Marvin London.
