JCES Spellers advance to system-wide bee
      Twenty-two of the best spellers in the fourth and fifth grades at Jenkins County Elementary School gathered in the media center Thursday, Nov. 30, for the JCES 2006-2007 Spelling Bee. Participants consisted of children who had placed first or second in their classroom spelling bee.

Students of the Month
      The Student of the Month program at JCES recognized one student per homeroom each month. Each student must maintain good behavior in all school activities, make an excellent effort to complete all schoolwork and maintain a good attendance record.
