JCHS to hold School Council Election for Parents
Jenkins County High School (JCHS) has scheduled a School Council Parent Election for 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, in the school media center. Two parents will be elected to serve on the council for the next school year. Parents or guardians of students enrolled in JCHS are eligible to serve as parent members of the school council. The law excludes parents of students in the school who are also employees of the school system who work at JCHS to be eligible to serve on the council. If you have questions concerning the school council, contact Dr. Joseph Kirkland at 982- 4791 or come by the school office. All eligible parents/guardians are encouraged to attend and participate in the election. |
