Mini-Revival

The Sure Word Baptist Church family invites everyone to their upcoming mini-revival. The services will be held 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1; and 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2. The Rev. Matthew Morgan will be the guest preacher.

Anniversary

The public is cordially invited to Gordon Grove Baptist Church's Ushers Anniversary Sunday, Dec. 2. Sunday School will begin at 9 a.m. and the worship service will begin at 10 a.m. The church is located at 4950 E. Old Savannah Road.

First Baptist Church and the Rev. Allen Webb, pastor, announce that the Voices of Inspiration will celebrate their 12th Choir Anniversary 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1.

New Hurricane

Branch Baptist Church "Evening

of Celebration"

New Hurricane Branch Baptist Church will host an "Evening of Celebration" honoring former pastor, the Rev. James L. Brooks. The celebration will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1. The program will include singing, preaching and praising the Lord. The speaker for the occasion will be Pastor V.E. Lewis.

Pastor Lewis is a native of Millen. He is the pastor of Lawton Grove Baptist Church in Sylvania and St. Mark Baptist Church in Allendale, S.C.

Church Youth

Services

Pastor Rayford L. Whitehead and the Sandhill Baptist Church family invite youth to their Youth Day 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Bethel AME Church.

This event will be packed with games, food and fun. Youth are asked to show their talent by singing, dancing, stepping, cheering, reciting poetry and/or rapping for Jesus.

A Youth Appreciation service will be held 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at Sandhill Baptist Church.

Zion Baptist

Church held Men

and Women's Day

Zion Baptist Church celebrated its annual Men and Women's Day Sunday, Nov. 25. Dr. Cynthia Cone Dekle, senior women's vice president of the Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Association was the guest speaker.

Dr. Dekle's topic, "Making Good Choices," spelled out several profound statements. One of her statements was, "If life is worth doing, it is worth doing now."

Mr. and Ms. Zion Baptist Church were crowned. Barbara Sapp was crowned Ms. Zion and Jamal Dunnum was crowned Mr. Zion.
