Lucy B. Stephens, 88, of Millen died Dec. 23

Mrs. Lucy Baxley Stephens, 88, of Millen died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006.

Graveside services were 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, at the Millen Cemetery with the Rev. Maurice Crowder officiating.

Mrs. Stephens was a life-long resident of Jenkins County, a retired clerk and a member of Millen Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, John Franklin (Frank) Stephens of Highland Park, Calif.; a grandson and daughter-in-law, Scott Alan (Carrie Stephens) of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; two step-grandsons, Stephen Tartaglia of Los Angeles, Calif. and Todd Tartaglia, both of Orange County, Calif.

Crowe-Fields Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
