Ervin "Delma" Scott, 72, of Eden died January 5

Ervin Delano "Delma" Scott, 72, of Eden, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 at Candler Hospital.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Greenhill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Travis Cowart officiating.

Mr. Scott was born in Scarboro and was a retired cabinet maker. He was a member of Powers Baptist Church in Eden and a former member of Riverside Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Jean Gill Scott of Eden; son, Dexter D. Scott of Eden; three daughters, Jennifer Dionne of Eden and Tammy Mixon and Vivian Scott, both of Millen; two brothers, Harry Scott and Terry Scott; sister, Dianne McMillian; two grandchildren, Jennie Ann Durden of Millen and Nicholas James Dionne of Eden; and a number of nieces and nephews.
