Gym construction on target
Construction of the new gymnasium at Jenkins County High School is progressing on schedule. The project is being funded with voter-approved Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax revenue and the issuance of general obligation bonds. When completed, the structure will seat approximately 2,200 persons and include a stage and concession area. (Staff photo by Deborah Bennett)
