Wilbur Riley Joyner, 64, of Millen died Jan. 20

Mr. Wilbur Riley Joyner, 64, of Millen died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, at MCG Hospital in Augusta.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, at Habersham United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ray Freeman officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Joyner was born in Jenkins County and was a retired mechanic and a member of Habersham United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Myers Joyner; two daughters, Leigh Ann Gainey of Old Fort, N.C. and Jennifer Griffis of Jackson, S.C.; three sons, Larry, Richard and Felton Joyner, all of Millen; two sisters, Joann Reynolds of Millen and Carlene Jenkins of Waynesboro; and three brothers, Tommy, Albert and Michael Joyner, all of Millen.

Pallbearers were Albert Joyner, Mark Joyner, Nolen Gainey, Charlie Hadden Jr., Wes Lee and Charlie Lanier.

Crowe-Fields Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
