Nellie Mae Flakes, 76, of Millen died Jan. 18

Mrs. Nellie Mae Barton Flakes, 76, of Millen died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007.

Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Green Fork Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Flakes was born in Jenkins County and was a retired nurse from Bethany Home and a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her three daughters and two sons-in-law, Janet and Paul Driggers of Statesboro and Virginia and Arnold Clarke and Debra Flakes, all of Millen; three sons and two daughters-inlaw, Raymond and Vickie Flakes and Douglas Flakes, all of Millen, and David and Patricia Flakes of Waynesboro; a brother, Thomas Barton of Waynesboro; nineteen grandchildren; and thirteen greatgrandchildren.

Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home in Millen.
