Qualifying fees set for City of Millen election

Qualifying fees for the City of Millen Nonpartisan General Election to take place Tuesday, Nov. 6, has been set at $45 for each council seat and $108 for the Mayor's position.

Council seats up for election are Ward #1, to succeed Darrel Clifton; Ward #2, to succeed Lee Ward Williams; and Mayor, to succeed A. King Rocker.

Qualifying as a candidate in the election will take place Aug. 27 through Aug. 31.
