Library News January's gone by and February is arriving - and with it, our annual celebration of the vital role that Black Americans have made to our country and the world. As part of the fun we have planned to help celebrate, Black History Month, Barbara Cheeseboro will visit our library on Tuesday, February13 at 11 am to share her traditional tales, songs, and music with all ages. She's a wonderful storyteller, so don't miss the chance to hear her share her heritage with all of us! Tax forms for 2006 are now available. We have both Federal and State forms, so if you are in need of a particular form, check us out. This is your library. So why not join our "Friends of the Library" group. Please come by the library to pick up your application. Not only will you be helping your library, you will be helping your community as well. "New Info on Eating Disorders in Two Stanford/Packard Children's Studies" discusses two studies about childhood eating disorders, one that confirms that pro-eating disorder Web sites may promote dangerous behaviors in adolescents with eating disorders and another that indicates that pre-teens with eating disorders tend to lose weight more quickly than adolescents with the condition and weigh comparatively less at diagnosis.
