Head Start accepting applications

CSRA EOA, Inc. Head Start will be accepting applications for children who will be 3 years old by Sept. 1, 2007 and 4 years old by Dec. 31, 2007.

Head Start is a comprehensive child development program that provides quality services for the whole family.

The program offers medical and dental examinations, mental health services, transportation, transition practices, nutrition experiences, social services and opportunities for parental involvement.

All services are provided in an educational environment that assures that your child will meet the challenges of the 21st century.

All services are free to qualified applicants. Applications may be obtained 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays-Fridays, at Jenkins County Head Start, 432 Cleveland Ave., Millen, GA.

The following information is requested to process your application: certified birth certificate, verification of income for the last 12 months (W2 form, copy of last income tax return, TANF/ food stamp letter, social security benefit letter), and child immunization certificate shot record (Georgia Form 3231).
