Things have been unbelievable around here lately. We have had a wonderful week full of smiles, surprises, and speeches! Everyone is winding up their projects and getting ready for the busy week ahead. We will be leaving this Friday afternoon Rock Eagle bound and hopefully, returning mid afternoon Sunday. The itinerary for this weekend is full of fun activities, food and socials. The following students will be participating in DPA this weekend: Callie Dailey, Chassity Wilkerson, Chelsea Taylor, Jaquetta Grier, Marshella Herrington, Ashton Sherrod, Bridget Johnson, Emily English, Jessica Herrmann, Krista Gay, Krysten Fail, Lavonte Lovette, Tabitha Trent, Breanna Adams, Shelby Burke, Walter Ivy, Becca Rich, Breezie Joiner, Charlotte Davis, Tim Mishue, T.J. Flakes, Justin Lanier, Adam Lanier, Brian Kirkland, Danielle Dieteman, and Heather Brigdon. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

This week I will be meeting with the middle and high school students to discuss upcoming activities and summer camp. I know several of the fifth graders are anxious and excited about DPA and summer camp. I have already been receiving phone calls! So next week, the 14th -16th, I will have the fifth grade club meetings to discuss these two things. PARENTS: Be looking for your child's 4-H information. I will give them a brochure with all the details during the meeting. Camp will be at Wahsega 4-H Center in Dahlonega, July 9-13. We will have a one day registration on Feb. 28. A $75 deposit will be required to register. Spaces are limited so we will be taking applications on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at 8 a.m Wednesday, Feb. 28th.

Keep an eye open for more information about upcoming events such as a scavenger hunt and bingo! Have a great week!
