GSP releases December stats

State Troopers from the Sylvania Post of the Georgia State Patrol investigated one traffic crash during the month of December in Jenkins County.

Sgt. First Class Young said the traffic crashes resulted in no injuries and no traffic deaths.

SFC Young said troopers from Post 21 also issued 135 traffic citations in the county during the month. The total included two arrests for driving under the influence, 94 citations for speeding, eight seatbelt violations and no child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 213 warnings.
