Dickey Grove Missionary Baptist Church

Dickey Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Screven County will have its annual benefit revival Monday-Friday, Feb. 19-23, at 7:30 nightly.

The revivalist for the week will be the Rev. S.D. Bing of Lovett Hill and Bethlehem Baptist churches in Hiltonia.

The public is invited.

Daniel Grove Baptist Church

Daniel Grove Baptist Church will host a Bible trivia 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 15, at the church.

Categories will include: Bible General, Numbers in the Bible, Jesus of Nazareth, Bible Places, Bible Characters, Bible Objects, Women in the Bible, Who and What and Leaders and Rulers.

There will be over 100 multiple choice questions. A first, second and third place trophy will be given to the churches that win.

There can be two competitors from each church only, and there will be 12 seconds to respond.

Churches interested can contact deacon James Ford at 478-982- 3677 to enter.

Refreshments will be served. Dress is casual.

Sure Word Baptist Church

Sure Word Baptist Church will have its first annual Mission Conference 7 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 14-17, and 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 18.

Missionary Richard Rawls, who was a missionary to Mexico, will be the guest speaker for each service.
