Miss Scott to wed Mr. Tapley April 14

Gary and Molly Scott of Sylvania announce the engagement of their daughter, Mindy, to Travis Tapley, son of Donna Tapley of Millen and Betty Crosby and James Tapley Jr. of Guyton.

The wedding is planned for 6 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Quarter Oaks Farmhouse in Sylvania.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Roy and Verna Scott of Newington and Mrs. Lillie Lariscy of Sylvania and the late L.M. Lariscy Sr.

She is a 1998 graduate of Screven County High School and a 2001 graduate of Ogeechee Technical College where she received a degree in diagnostic medical sonography.

She is currently employed with Hilton Head Imaging.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Q.A. and Nellie Jean Lane of Millen, Harold and Julia Martin of Wrightsville and the late James Tapley Sr.

He is a 2003 graduate of Jenkins County High School and is self-employed as a farmer and has a personal lawn care business.
