Cloverleaf

These are 5th & 6th grade 4- H'ers. The first thing on the agenda for you is Cloverleaf DPA. Jr/Sr DPA has been in the spotlight for a while, but now it's your turn! You can start coming in to the office any time now. If you are planning on doing DPA, you need to come by and begin working on it as soon as possible. If you are in the 5th grade, and would like to ride the bus from the Elementary School to our office, you may still

still do so. DPA is a lot of fun! You will have to come into the office, and we'll put together a speech and some posters then on March 24 we will go to Effingham County to compete against other cloverleaf's from the surrounding counties. This will provide you the opportunity to meet all kinds of new friends. The day will be full of fun games, food and demonstrations!

Cloverleaf camp registration is fast approaching. Camp will be July 9-13, 2007 at Camp Wahsega in Dahlonega, GA. The cost is $200 per child with a non refundable $75 deposit due on Feb 28. We can only accept a limited number of participants. Registration begins at 8 am on Wednesday, Feb 28. To ensure your child has a spot, please come and register them as soon as possible.

Juniors

Spring Junior Conference will be held at Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island April 14 and 15. If you are interested in this event, please let me know and I will get you more information.

Junior Camp is July 2-6, 2007 at Fortson 4-H Center outside of Atlanta. The cost is $260 with a $75 deposit due by March 12. I know this camp is more expensive but it will be worth it and we have a fundraiser if you are interested. Camp Fortson is non-stop! You will go to Six-Flags, the Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, Thursday Night Thunder at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, Stone Mountain, and much more including fireworks!

Seniors

Senior Conference is going to be at the Jekyll Island 4-H Center April 27- 29. If you are interested in this, please let me know and I will get you more information.

Senior Camp/Hoya Saxa XV is July 9-13, 2007 at Burton 4-H Center on Tybee Island. The cost is $260 with a $75 deposit due by March 12. Unfortunately, this camp too is a little more expensive, but should be worth it! Cost includes a Dolphin Cruise, Riverboat Dinner Tour, Savannah Ghost Tour, a souvenir and more.
