Miss Creech weds Mr. Phillips Jan. 13
Lori Renee Creech became the bride of Scott Lanier Phillips 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007, at Old St. David's Church in Cheraw, S.C.
The Rev. Richard Young of Cheraw, S.C. officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Creech of Cheraw, S.C. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Phillips of Millen.
The church was decorated simply with greenery and pink stargazer lilies.
Mrs. Beth Maier of Cheraw, S.C. was the musician.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a long, strapless white gown with beading.
Her veil was trimmed with crystals and fell at her waist.
She carried a simple bouquet of stargazer lilies.
Bridesmaids were Lynn Creech of Cheraw, S.C., sister of the bride; LeAnn Gaudry of Millen, sister of the groom; and Lisa Creech Douglas of Cheraw, S.C., sister of the bride.
They wore a two-piece black ensemble with beaded draped neckline and long skirt.
Carly Douglas of Cheraw, S.C., niece of the bride, served as the junior bridesmaid.
Attendants carried a bouquet of pink stargazer lilies.
Jason Moore of Adrian served as the best man.
Groomsmen were Jason Johnson of Charlotte, N.C., Dana Goodman of Atlanta and Mark Canady of Kite.
Reception
A small luncheon, given by Mr. and Mrs. James Creech, was held at Cheraw First Baptist Church following the ceremony.
A larger, more casual wedding reception was held Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Cheraw National Guard Armory.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Estridge of Camden, S.C. kept the bride's book.
The bride and groom traveled to northern California for their honeymoon and visited Sonoma Valley, Napa Valley and San Francisco.
The couple resides in Wedgefield, S.C.
