Free legal help

Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) will be in Jenkins County to meet with senior citizens wanting free legal help, on a first-come, first-serve basis 1- 3 p.m. Monday, March 5, at the Jenkins County Senior Center, 998 College Avenue in Millen.

If you are a senior citizen 60 years of age or older and have a civil (non-criminal) legal issue, they may be able to help.

The GLSP also provides free legal help to low-income people with civil (non-criminal) legal problems.

A representative from GLSP will travel to meet with people wanting free legal help in Jenkins and Screven counties on the first Monday of each month on a firstcome, first-serve basis.

The next scheduled visit will be 10 a.m.-noon Monday, March 5, at the Senior Citizens Center, 209 East Ogeechee Street in Sylvania.
