"The Sound of Music" comes to Millen

Residents will have the opportunity to enjoy a live production of Roger and Hammerstein's "The Sound of Music" 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at the Old Pal Theater on Cotton Avenue.

The performance, directed by Tony Phillips, is by Richard Sussmann Productions. Millen Better Hometown received a $1,000 grant from the Grassroots Arts Program to help finance the production. Other funding for the musical will come from advertising by local merchants.

Tickets are $12 each and are available at The Charm Barn and at the chamber office.
