Datebook Easter Egg Hunt Milen Better Hometown will have its annual community Easter "Eggs"travaganza 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at the little ball fields by Edenfield's Feed and Seed. There will be three age groups - walking to 3 years old, 4-7 years old and 8-10 years old. Two-thousand plastic eggs filled with candy will be hidden. Prizes will be given in each age group for five speciallymarked eggs. Each child should bring a bag or basket to hold the eggs they find. GED registration Swainsboro Technical College (STC) will hold GED registration for the April GED Day and Evening Testing 9 a.m. Monday, March 26, in building #8 and 6 p.m. in building #1. The GED examination will be given at STC. Registration is required prior to testing. A picture ID and social security card must be presented, and a $65 test fee is due at registration. Sons of the Confederacy monthly meeting Sons of the Confederacy Camp 2102 will have its monthly meeting 7:30 p.m Friday, March 16, at Cindy's Café on Cotton. The "greet and eat" starts at 6 p.m. Dr. John Derden of East Georgia College in Swainsboro will present a program on the history of the Georgia Railroad during the Civil War. The meeting is free and open to the public. Class of 1967 reunion The Jenkins County High School Class of 1967 will hold its 40th class reunion Saturday, April 28, at McKinney's Pond. Social hour begins at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m.
