West Millen Baptist 'Beast Feast' a success

The brotherhood of West Millen Baptist Church sponsored "Beast Feast" Saturday, March 3, at Hanging Rocks Plantation.

Many enjoyed the festivities, which included cooking an "air castle" for the kids, sporting clay shooting, fishing, paintball and a shooting simulator provided by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

A feast of duck, pheasant, deer, catfish stew, fried fish, barbeque, hotdogs, hamburgers, quail and much more was provided.

There were approximately 250 people in attendance. Robert Jenkins welcomed everyone and paid tribute to the sponsors who had donated many door prizes. Bro. Steven introduced the speakers for the program, Al Stone of Al Stone Ministries and of a televised hunting show and Hank Parker Jr., former Nascar driver and current announcer. Parker also stars on his father's hunting show.

All proceeds benefit Rock of Ages Prison Ministries.
