The Jenkins County Chamber of Commerce annual banquet is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at the Jenkins County Agriculture Center. Georgia Commissioner of Labor Michael Thurmond will be the guest speaker.

I have heard Mr. Thurmond on several occasions and have found him to be a very entertaining and inspirational speaker. He will also make a special presentation during the event.

Mark your calendars and plan to attend. Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at the chamber office.
