Faith Temple Church

Faith Temple Church will feature the Georgians in concert 7 p.m. Saturday, March 24.

Daniel Grove Baptist

Church

Daniel Grove Baptist Church will have its Joy Night program 7 p.m. Saturday, March 24.

The Rev. Earnest Rucker will be the guest speaker.

It will be an evening of songs and praise.

Morrison Grove

Morrison Grove Baptist Church will have its Spring Youth Revival 7:30 nightly Monday Friday, March 26-30.

Speakers for the event will be as follows:

Monday, March 26 - the Rev. Hayward Cordy;

Tuesday, March 27 - the Rev. Derwin Jackson;

Wednesday, March 28 - the Rev. Chavous Boyd;

Thursday, March 29 - the Rev. Jonavan J. Harris; and

Friday, March 30 - the Rev. Marvin L. McRae.

Guest churches will participate throughout the week.

Also, the church will recognize outstanding youth in the county Sunday, April 1.

Sunday School begins at 10:30 a.m., and praise and worship follows at 11:30 a.m.

The public is invited to attend these services.

Millen United

Methodist Church

Millen United Methodist Church will have its annual Revival services 7 p.m. Sunday- Wednesday, March 25-28.

A free lunch will be served in the social hall each day at noon.

The Rev. Michael A. McAfee Sr. will be the guest speaker. He was born and raised in Roberta (near Macon) and graduated from Crawford County High School. He received an associates degree from Brewton Parker College and a bachelors degree from LaGrange College. He earned his Masters of Divinity from Emory University's Candler School of Theology.

Mike and his wife, Mildred, have one son and two grandchildren. He has served in various churches throughout the South Georgia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. He served as an associate pastor in Jeffersonville, Bloomfield (Macon) and Mulberry Street United Methodist Church in Macon. He was a senior minister at St. Mark UMC, Sandersville UMC, Wilmington Island UMC, Valdosta First UMC and is presently at Albany First UMC. He has also been district superintendent of the Savannah and Valdosta districts.

The public is invited to the services.

Zion Baptist Church

Zion Baptist Church's Male Participation program, originally scheduled for the second Sunday in April, has been rescheduled for 11 a.m., May 13.

Dinner will be served.

Green Fork Baptist

Church

The Rev. Lem Clark, director of Penfield Christian Home of Union Point, will be the morning speaker for Green Fork Baptist Church Sunday, March 25.

The goal of Penfield is "recovering addicts and alcoholics one at a time."

Also, the church will have a yard sale and bake sale 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 7, in the parking lot of West Millen Baptist Church.

All proceeds will go to the youth program at the church.
