Forty-five patrons attended a performance at the Jenkins County Memorial Library March 13 when Harry O'Donoghue, an Irish singer and guitarist from Savannah presented an evening of anecdotes, humor and songs relating to the Irish culture, past and present. Mr. O'Donoghue can be heard weekly on The Green Island Radio Show on Georgia Public Broadcasting. He sits on the Advisory Board of the Center for Irish Studies at Georgia Southern University and has been voted Best Folk Artist by readers of Connect Savannah every year since 2000.
