Prom committee to sponsor step show

The Jenkins County High School Prom Committee will sponsor a step show 6 p.m. Saturday, March 31, in the high school gym.

The show will feature local step team, Genesis, as well as step teams from surrounding counties.

Admission is $5.

Proceeds will benefit the JCHS junior/senior prom.

Bazaar

Buckhead-Fort Lawson Camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans will have its Spring Bazaar 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 7, in front of McTeer Tire on Highway 25 North.

Items will include clothing, books, housewares, etc.

All proceeds will benefit Camp 2102's Special Projects Fund.

Karate classes The Jenkins County Recreation Department is offering karate classes 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays,
