Holy Week Services

Magnolia Baptist Church and Fair Haven and Habersham United Methodist churches will have joint Holy Week services beginning 6:30 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, April 4) and ending Friday, April 6.

A meal will be served at 6:30 p.m.

Holy Communion will be Thursday, April 5.

All services will be held at the Perkins Community House (Village Club).

The public is invited to attend.

Mt. Olivet Youth

Ministries

Mt. Olivet Youth Ministries will have its second annual Youth Rally 8 p.m. Friday, April 13, at the church, located off Canoochee Road between Garfield and Canoochee.

The event will be youth-organized, led and oriented and will feature live music, drama and special guest speakers. The event is free to the public.

The program will target students from middle school through college, though people of all ages are invited to attend.

There will be food, drinks and prizes.

The event will be held outdoors, so dress appropriately and bring lawn chairs and blankets.

New Hurricane

Branch Baptist

Church

New Hurricane Branch Baptist Church will have its Spring Revival 7:30 nightly, Monday-Friday, April 9-13.

The Rev. Thomas Moore will be the guest minister for the week.

The public is invited to attend.

Sandhill Baptist

Church

Sandhill Baptist Church will have Easter services 11:30 a.m. Sunday, April 8.

Rayford Whitehead is pastor.

Millen Baptist Church

Millen Baptist Church will have Sunrise Easter Services 8:30 a.m. Sunday, April 8, on the church lawn, followed by a breakfast at 9 a.m.

Sunday School will begin at 9:45 a.m. and worship service at 11 a.m.

A brass quartet from the music department of Georgia Southern University will perform at the sunrise service and the morning worship service.

The public is invited to attend.

Zion Baptist Church

The youth department of Zion Baptist Church will present its annual Easter program 7 p.m. Sunday, April 8.

The Rev. P.M. Broomfield invites the public.

Green Fork Baptist

Church

Green Fork Baptist Church youth will have a yard sale 8 a.m.- 1 p.m. Saturday, April 7, in the parking lot of West Millen Baptist Church.

Proceeds will be used to help the youth participate in SuperWow this summer.

Easter Sunrise Service will be held 7 a.m. Sunday, April 8.

During the 11 a.m. morning worship service the choir will present "Then Came the Morning" by Sue C. Smith and Russell Mauldin.

The public is invited to attend.

Drakes Chapel

Baptist Church

Drakes Chapel Baptist Church will have its Spring Revival 7:30 nightly Wednesday-Friday, April 11-13.

The Rev. Eugene David, pastor of Ohoopee Grove, will be the guest minister.

Wednesday, April 11 - Lane Chapel, St. John, Jones Temple, Faith Walk Deliverance, Gay Hill, Fountain Spring, Mt. Gilead, 2nd McCoy, Newton Grove, Needful, Pinery Grove, Roundtree Chapel, Sand Hill, 1st McCoy and St. Matthews;

Thursday, April 12 - Mt. Carmel, Daniel Grove, Dickey Grove, Gordon Grove, New Hurricane Branch, Salter Grove, Roundtree Island, Mt. Zion, Brinson Rock, Friendship, Roundtree Grove and Bible Missionary; and

Friday, April 13 - Skull Creek #1 and #2, Lester Grove, New Light, Welcome Baptist, Zion Baptist, First Baptist,. Johnson Chapel, Union Chapel, Johnson Grove, Beechwood, Rocky Ford, Durden Grove, Nannie E. Williams and Lane Grove.

Faith Walk Deliverance Church

Faith Walk Deliverance Church will host an Easter service 11 a.m. Sunday, April 8.

The Rev. Robert Reese, pastor, will deliver the sermon.

Refreshments will be served. The public is invited.
