Miss Booth to wed Mr. Sasser May 27

Douglas Reid Sasser Jr. and Deena Nell Booth announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The wedding is planned for Sunday, May 27, 2007 in Port Wentworth at Port Wentworth United Methodist Church.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Robert Paul Booth of Champion, Ohio and Gwendolyn De'don Booth of Warren, Ohio.

She received a Bachelor of Arts in music from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C. She is a 2006 graduate of Georgia State University in Atlanta, where she received a Master of Heritage Preservation with a concentration in public history.

She is currently employed as a project historian in Atlanta.

The bridegroom-elect is the son of Dr. Douglas Sasser of Lynchburg, Va. and the late Latrelle Joyner Sasser.

He attended Young Harris College before going to the University of Georgia, where he received a Bachelor of Arts. He is a 1996 graduate of Emory University's Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, where he earned a Master of Divinity.

He is currently employed at Emory University in the Candler School of Theology's Office of Church Ministries Education as a program coordinator.
