Airport Advisory Committee meeting

The Jenkins County Airport Advisory Committee regular meeting is held the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m., at the Family Enrichment Center, located at 527 Barney Ave. near the high school.

Acteens yard sale

The Acteens of Oak Hill Baptist Church will have a yard sale 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, in the vacant lot on the corner of Winthrope Ave. and Old Waynesboro Road.

There will be a wide variety of items for sale.

Proceeds will help fund a trip for the Acteen girls and their sponsors to a national Acteen convention in St. Louis, Mo.

New hours for JCRD

Jenkins County Recreation Department will have new hours, effective Monday, April 16.

The office will now be open Monday-Friday from 1-5 p.m.

39'ers meeting

The 39'ers will meet noon, Monday, April 16, at the Millen Community House.

A covered-dish lunch will be served. New members are welcome.

Jackson Family reunion

The late John and Rena Mae Sapp Jackson's family will have a family reunion 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Magnolia Springs State Park.
