Miss Waters weds Mr. Melton

Mr. and Mrs. Gary W. Melton
Miss Summer M. Waters became the bride of Mr. Gary W. Melton 2 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Green Fork Baptist Church with Brad Boynton officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Janie Waters of Perkins and the granddaughter of Juel and C.J. Waters, also of Perkins, and the late Mildred R. Jenkins and James S. Jenkins of Millen.

The groom is the son of Ted and Lisa Woodworth of Beaumont, Texas and Gary and Sharon Melton of Dearborn Heights, Mich.

The church was decorated with ferns, greenery, ivy and white tulle.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a white Oleg Cassini gown with silver trim beading and a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of pink roses.

"Only God Could Love You More" was played as she walked down the aisle.

Reception

A reception was held at Green Fork Baptist Church Social Hall following the ceremony.

The room was decorated with pink and white tulle and a crystal candelabra with pink tapers.

The bride's cake was two tiered and decorated with stargazer lilies. The couple now reside in Washington State.
